The importer is obligated to meet the regulations of the National Food Service for food products, both sensitive and regular, prior to the entry of goods to Israel’s ports.
Once the goods arrive in the country, a release process takes place in the transit stations of the Ministry of Health, the final seal prior to passing through the customs agents.
This process can be long, cumbersome and expensive or simple, inexpensive and rapid, if one is familiar with the process.
Golan and Uri Express, the daughter company of “Sefi Ifrach”, handle the variety of services for the food importer, starting from assistance in issuing food certificates, renewing importer registration, releasing goods from customs, including sampling and handling versus labs.
